I’ve been a long time reader of PCWorld which started as a print magazine. I get their emailed newsletters quite often. I was recently helping a retired friend with the setup of a new Windows 11 computer, but he needed Word, Excel and Outlook. Microsoft 365 can be a bit pricey at $99/year, so I was excited when I got the recent notice of being able to buy a lifetime license for Microsoft Office Professional 2021 for $49.97 (USD). It’s $20 more if you have a Mac computer.
But this version of Excel is great for the Excel Checkbook if you are using Windows. I still recommend Microsoft 365 for Mac users so that the dashboard and reports will work.
I don’t know how long this offer will last, but I thought I’d share it.
